    This special tour takes you to the sacred Mount Kailash during the biggest festival of the year. Saga Dawa Festival celebrated the day of Buddha’s birth, enlightenment and death. It attracts thousands of pilgrims from all around Tibet, India and the world. You will see the greatest diversity of Tibetan national dress as people wear their best clothes for the festival.
    Tour includes around Mount Kailash. This is a pilgrimage route that every
    Buddhist wants to complete at least once in a lifetime. On the first day of trek we will reach the main celebration area where you will see the change of the poles.
    During the second day of the trek around Mount Kailash we will go over the
    highest point of the trek – Dolma la pass (5,640 meters. The third day of the trek will go along mountain streams through gorgeous valley.

    01 Arrival in Kathmandu
    02 Kathmandu city sight seeing
    03 Patan and Bhaktapur sight seeing & preparation for Kailash tour
    04 Afternoon Fly from Kathmandu to Nepalgunj: 1 hour and overnight there.

    NEPALI SIDE TREKKING

    05 Fly to Simikot (2,985m/9,790ft) and trek to Dharapori (2,360m/7,740ft) 4 – 6 hours
    06 Dharapori to Kermi (2,860m/9,383ft): 5 – 6 hours
    07 Kermi to Yalbang (2,879m/9,445ft): 5 – 6 hours
    08 Yalbang to Tumkot (3,073m/10,082ft): 5 – 6 hours
    09 Tumkot to Yari (3,663m/12,017ft): 6 – 7 hours
    10 Yari to Hilsa (3,647m/11,965ft) via Nara La pass: 5 – 6 hours
    11 Hilsa to Purang (3,772m/12,375ft): 2 – 3 hours
    12 Purang to Mansarwar 5-6 hours drive.
    13 Mansarwar rest day and visit leak
    14 Mansarwar to Kailas Base Camp first day of Kora: hiking to Dira PukMonasterys (5120m/16,792ft), 5 – 6 hours
    15 Second day of Kora: hike to Dzutul-puk (4790m/15,765ft): 18km, 6 – 7 hours
    16 Third day of Kora: hiking to Darchen (4,560m/15,000ft): 14km, 3 – 4 hours and transfer to Manasarovar
    17 Drive to Saga (4,600m/15,088ft) 495 km, 8 – 9 hours
    18 Drive to Shigatse (3,900m/12,795 ft): 445km, 8-9 hours
    19 Drive Lhasa (3,650m/11,972ft): 265km, 4-5 hours
    20 Full day sight seeing in Lhasa potala palace and Lhasa city
    21 Drive to Airport and fly one and half how arrive in Kathmandu and transfer to hotel.
    22 Bhaktapur/Patan sightseeing and shopping
    23 Drive international airport 3 hours before flight departure.
