Annapurna Base camp via Gorepani

ANNAPURNA BASE CAMP VIA GOREPANI:
Annapurna sanctuary area is the most popular trekking area and is covered with an alpine flora
and fauna. The major inhabitants are Mongolian peoples. This area is not only known as the most
commercialised but also as the most dangerous destination, due to the unexpected snowing
avalanches in both winter and early springs season. The maximum elevation of this trek will be
the Annapurna base camp (3,900 m.). In addition, this trek offers a chance to view a panoramic
scene of Annapurna ranges, Mt. Machhapuchhre, Himchuli and so on. No doubt it could be a life
time experience for those who trek into this region.

ITINERERY
Day 01: Arrival and transfer to the hotel.
Day 02: Full day sightseeing Kathmandu valley.
Day 03: Drive out from Kathmandu to Pokhara by tourist’s bus and at Pokhara hotel.
Day 04: Pokhara to Tikhedhunga (1,577 m.). Trek starting day, after 4 to 5 hours trek, we camp
at Tikhedhunga.
Day 05: Tikhedunga to Ghorepani (2,855 m.). A really beautiful place to enjoy the mountain
environment.
Day 06: Ghorepani to Tadapani (2,680 m.). Before breakfast, early in the morning, we climb to
Poonhill (3,220 m.) from where we can see the beautiful sunrise and panoramic view of the
mountains. After breakfast we continue the trek, as usual after 4 to 5 hours, we still reach the
next camping place Tadapani.
Day 07: Tadapani to Chhomrong (2,040 m.). After crossing a beautiful Gurung village. We settle
down at Chhomrong.
Day 08: Chhomrong to Dovan (2,930 m.). Trail leads to Chhomrong Khola a Bamboo forest
with Oak and Rhododendron. After that we have to climb up an elevation (3,250 m.) known as
Sinuwa.
Day 09: Dovan to Deurali (3,000 m.). Hinko at (3,190 m.) a dangerous place for avalanches.
Killing trekkers and crew is not a new story.
Day 10: Deurali to Annapurna Base Camp.
Day 11: A day rest at the Base Camp.
Day 12: Annapurna Base Camp to Bamboo lodge (3,190 m.). Trek leads back to Bamboo lodge.
Day 13: Bamboo lodge t Chhomrong (2,040 m.). Trail leads to Chilling and descends slightly
again to Chhomrong (2,040 m.).
Day 14: Chhomrong to Dhampus (1,550 m.). We still stay there camping of a Gurung village,
where the people ask for a donation for their School.
Day 15: Dhampus to Pokhara (short trek and drive)
Day 16: Pokhara to Kathamndu by tourist bus.
Day 17: Free day in Kathmandu.
Day 18: Final departure to home country.
Cost includes:
Hotel in Kathmandu with BB.before and after the Trekking, All City’s Sight
seeing All transfer in Kathmandu city, materials trekking 2 men tent, or Lodge,
Guide, cook and porters all their allowances insurance, all the necessary foods on the trekking.
Kathmandu/Pokhara/Kathmandu by tourists bus.

Cost doesn’t includes:-
International Air ticket, drinks, Laundry, postage, telephone call and all
items of personals equipments, Medical and rescue insurance, custom duties, lunch dinner in
Kathmandu, city.
