The Chulu East Peak climbing is an adventurous travel to region above the Manang valley to the mountain called Chulu East of 6584 meters elevation above sea level. The Chulu mountain region is encompassed by Dhaulagiri, Manaslu, Tilicho Peak, Glacier, Annapurna Himalaya, Gangapurna etc. The Chulu East Peak is categorized as non-technical mountain and is a straight forward climb to the top but it requires knowledge on mountaineering like using climbing equipment, crampons, ice axe, tying knots and climbing ropes. The Chulu East Peak climbing mostly comprises of walking with roped together and alert glacial ice mass crossing which requires good health and some climbing experience.
The travelers from Chame traverse through the villages of Humde and Julu landing on Yak Kharka. The travelers from Yak Kharka follow the trekking trail to Chulu East Base Camp at 4200 meters. The Chulu East Base Camp is resided along a glacial deposit and a ridge that separates Chulu East and Chulu Far East Peak. The North-East Ridge is the normal route to ascend the top which a healthy climber finish in one day and get back to base camp. The returning travelers from Chulu East Base Camp descend towards Manang region where they can get rest and take vehicle to Kathmandu city.

Itinerary
Day 01: Arrive at Kathmandu airport (1345meters).
Day 02: Kathmandu Valley sight seeing
Day 03: Drive to Chamje (1425m): 6/7 hours by jeep.
Day 04: Chamje to Dharapani (1960m).
Day 05: Dharapani to Chame (2710m).
Day 06: Chame to Pisang (3300m).
Day 07: Pisang- julu 3490m.
Day 08: Acclimatization at Julu.
Day 09: Julu- Yak Kharka.
Day 10: Yak Kharka-Base camp 4200m.
Day 11: Preparation day at Base camp.
Day 12: Base camp to High camp (5334m).
Day 13: Summit the Chulu East (6584m) and back to the Base Camp.
Day 14: Trek to Manang (3440m).
Day 15: Trek to Leder
Day 16: Trek to High Camp (4900m).
Day 17: Thorong Phedi – Thorong Pass (5416m) – Muktinath (3800m).
Day 18: Trek to Jomsom (2715m).
Day 19: Scenic morning fly to Pokhara and Sightseeing.
Day 20: Drive back to Kathmandu
Day 21: Sightseeing in Bhaktapur and Patan
Day 22: Drive to international airport
