Mera Peak Climbing (6,470m)
Mera Peak is one of the best Himalayan panoramic view point in the world & popular peak

climbing in the Everest region of Nepal. Mera peak is technically easy to climb and hence is
preferred by most climbers who inspire to climb Mount Everest. Mera Peak is the highest
trekking peaks in Nepal, however it can be challenging trekking peak due to its elevation which
height is 6,470 meter / 21,227feet. Mera Peak climbing is the best option for people with average
mountaineering experience.

Mera peak is situated in Mahakulung Municipality – 1, Solukhumbu District, Everest Region.
Mera Peak is inside Makalu Barun National Park and Hinku Valley. You need to be well
acclimatized and physically fit to climb Mera Peak. Mera Peak Climbing itinerary is required to
design carefully with safe ascent and plenty of time for acclimatization with the environment.
The best time to ascend Mera Peak is during the spring season from March to May and autumn
season from September to December for viewing its astonishing scene of the Himalaya Vista.

Jimmy Roberts and Sen Tenzing made the first successful ascent of Mera Peak on 20 May 1953.
The route they used is still the standard route and straight forward to climb. Mera Peak summit
offers the wonderful Everest Himalayan panoramic view above 8000 meters five peaks are
visible Mount Everest (8848 m), Mt. Kanchenjunga (8586m), Mt. Lhotse (8516 m), Mt. Makalu
(8463m), and Mt. Cho Yu (8201 m). As well as from top of Mera Peak around 7000 meters
surrounding five peaks can be explore Baruntse, Chamlang, Nuptse, Pumo Ri, Gyachung Kang,
and around 6000 meters five peaks are also explore Ama Dablam, Labuche, Kangtega, Peak 41,
and Tutse,Peak. Mera peak Summit gives awesome peak climbing experience with enjoying
successful trip to celebrate.

The locals of the Mera areas are mostly Sherpa’s. The Sherpa’s are known for their expertise in
scaling mountains and are also known for their hospitality, traditional culture and religion. Mera
